THALIS II Service

"Having participated in previous evaluations of the THALΙS II service, we would like to highlight the internal knowledge that is offered to each organisation throughout its participation. Evaluation is, broadly, a process which creates great opportunities for internal research in any organisation and offers the ability to identify points for improvement so that it becomes more effective. THALIS II, which will be conducted in 2023 by HIGGS -widely known for its support to all CSOs in the country since 2016- is evidence of its commitment to promoting and developing the tertiary sector, by presenting the active Civil Society with the opportunity to be evaluated on the outcomes of its processes. Participation in the THALIS II service definitely provides the opportunity for an organisation to analyse and further evaluate the level of its internal organisation and the effectiveness of its work according to its final score. We wish good luck to all the participating organisations."Η αξιολόγηση ως έννοια είναι ευρύτερα μία διαδικασία η οποία δημιουργεί μεγάλες ευκαιρίες για εσωτερικές αναζητήσεις σε κάθε οργανισμό και προσφέρει την δυνατότητα να εντοπιστούν σημεία προς βελτίωση για την επίτευξη ενός αποτελεσματικότερου έργου. Το ΘΑΛΗΣ ΙΙ το οποίο θα υλοποιηθεί για το 2023 από το HIGGS, έναν φορέα της κοινωνίας των πολιτών ευρέως γνωστό για την υποστήριξη που προσφέρει σε όλες τις ΟΚοιΠ της χώρας από το 2016 εώς σήμερα, αποτελεί απόδειξη της δέσμευσης του HIGGS για την προώθηση και ανάπτυξη του τριτογενή τομέα, μέσα από την δυνατότητα που δίνει για αξιολόγηση και εξαγωγής αποτελεσμάτων για την ενεργό ΚτΠ του σήμερα. Για κάθε οργάνωση που θέλει να εξετάσει το επίπεδο της εσωτερικής της οργάνωσης και της αποτελεσματικότητας του έργου της, σίγουρα η συμμετοχή στην υπηρεσία ΘΑΛΗΣ ΙΙ δίνει την δυνατότητα για μία τέτοια ανάλυση και περαιτέρω αξιοποίηση βάσει της τελικής της βαθμολογίας. Ευχόμαστε καλή επιτυχία σε όλους τους φορείς που θα συμμετάσχουν.”

"In the Civil Society sector, it is crucial to distinguish those organizations that truly offer significant work. It wouldn’t be fair to underestimate groups and initiatives which are doing their best in order to contribute in a specific situation. There are, however, organisations that produce regular and qualitative work that makes a significant difference, as it is innovative and can influence the whole society: organisations that have a more coherent structure, social impact and long term duration. It’s very important that these attempts are evaluated and noticeable through specific procedures. The THALIS II program is undoubtedly the most important relevant attempt both qualitatively and quantitatively."
